The NG911 Interoperability Task Force visited the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) on May 11, 2023. Thank you to Assistant Deputy Secretary of Commerce April McClain-Delaney for learning about the global adoption and widespread deployment of the i3 standard as the basis of NG911. NG911 Interoperability Task Force members discussed the importance of achieving interoperability through conformance to NG911 standards (i3-centric), interoperability of systems, and end-to-end testing. In support of NG911 acceleration and ongoing interoperability, we welcome NTIA’s continued involvement and support.
